Man seriously injured in Hildesheim stabbing
A 29-year-old man was seriously injured by a stab wound on Mellinger Straße in Hildesheim on Saturday evening. According to the current investigation, he and his partner encountered the suspected attacker there, who allegedly stabbed him without warning. The injured man received medical treatment and was taken to hospital. The suspect initially fled but was identified through the investigation and provisionally detained. Prosecutors and police are continuing their investigation on suspicion of attempted homicide.
