Man injured with knife during robbery in Hildburghausen
Three unknown men attacked a 32-year-old man on Bahnhofstraße in Hildburghausen at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday. One of them inflicted a superficial knife injury and another sprayed irritant gas into his face. The attackers pushed the man to the ground and robbed him of almost 300 euros in cash. When he followed them to a gaming venue, another person struck him there with a snow shovel and a billiard cue. Police officers witnessed that further attack; the perpetrator fled but was identified shortly afterwards. The 32-year-old suffered several facial injuries but did not want medical treatment. Investigations into the first group of attackers are ongoing.
