At least seven injured after violent incident in Hessisch Oldendorf
At least seven people, some of them seriously, were injured in a violent incident following an altercation on Rittergutstraße in Hessisch Oldendorf on 30 August. Police were alerted at about 5:30 p.m. to reports of several people with stab and gunshot injuries; people were also reportedly injured after being struck by a car. Officers found injured people at the scene and emergency services took them to nearby hospitals. Two suspects were provisionally detained. Investigators are still examining the background and the exact sequence of events.
