Woman arrested at Frankfurt Airport after alleged contract machete attack
According to the Federal Police, a 49-year-old Canadian national was arrested at Frankfurt Airport in Hesse. Swiss authorities had issued an international arrest warrant for her on suspicion of attempted murder. She is alleged to have paid three people to kill her former partner. The attackers allegedly used machetes, leaving the victim seriously injured. Federal Police said the suspect was brought before a remand judge at Frankfurt am Main Local Court.
