Man seriously injured by stab wound at Bad Homburg town hall square

A 52-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious stab wound after an altercation at the town hall square in Bad Homburg on Friday lunchtime. Police and emergency services were called at about 12:40 p.m. At the scene, police arrested a 28-year-old suspect who may be connected to the injuries. The square was cordoned off for forensic work, while the background and precise sequence of events remain under investigation. The suspect was due to be brought before a remand judge.
