Flatmate seriously injured in knife attack in Herzebrock-Clarholz

During a dispute at worker accommodation in Herzebrock-Clarholz at about 3:30 a.m. on 11 July, a 32-year-old man is alleged to have injured his 25-year-old flatmate several times with a knife. The 25-year-old suffered serious injuries to his leg and head; his condition has since stabilised after an initial risk to his life could not be ruled out. The suspect also injured himself and, like his flatmate, was taken to hospital. Police provisionally detained him. On 13 July, an investigating judge ordered him held on remand for dangerous bodily harm.
