40-year-old attacked with knife in Herne
According to police, a 40-year-old man was attacked with a knife by a 42-year-old acquaintance in Herne-Horsthausen on Monday evening. He suffered serious injuries and received inpatient treatment in hospital; police said he was not currently in danger of dying. Officers arrested the suspect at the scene. Personal disputes are believed to have preceded the attack. Prosecutors and police are investigating an attempted homicide.
