Man threatens passenger with knife on S-Bahn near Herne
A man allegedly threatened a 43-year-old passenger with a knife on an S-Bahn at Herne station on 25 May. According to federal police, the dispute began after the young man blocked a train door and the passenger asked him to clear it. Following an argument, the suspect allegedly drew the knife; the passenger was not injured. The suspect fled after the train stopped in Castrop-Rauxel but was located shortly afterwards by federal police. Police said he admitted the allegation, and the knife was seized. An investigation is underway against the 20-year-old.
