Man undergoes surgery after life-threatening stab injury in Herford
During an altercation between two groups on Mindener Straße in Herford at about 12:45 a.m. on 25 June, a 53-year-old man suffered a life-threatening stab injury. Emergency services treated him at the scene before he was taken to hospital for emergency surgery. His condition later stabilised. Three men who were initially detained were released because suspicion against them was not substantiated. Bielefeld prosecutors and a homicide unit are investigating the background.
