Neighbour detained after stabbing in Herdecke
After a long-running neighbour dispute, a 69-year-old man is alleged to have stabbed his 52-year-old neighbour on 20 August in an apartment building on Zeppelinstraße in Herdecke. The injured man called emergency services and was taken to hospital. Authorities said an initially feared danger to his life no longer exists. The 69-year-old was provisionally detained, while prosecutors and a homicide investigation unit are investigating.
