Man remanded after alleged attack with pointed object in Heilbronn
Following an altercation at Cäcilienbrunnen in Heilbronn on 2 July, a 31-year-old man is alleged to have seriously injured a 24-year-old acquaintance in the face with an as-yet unidentified pointed object. The injured man was admitted to hospital for inpatient treatment. Police arrested the suspect shortly afterwards in the city. Investigators currently consider the case an attempted homicide, and a judge ordered pre-trial detention. The motive and possible weapon remain under investigation.
