Employee threatened with knife at Heidelberg supermarket

On Saturday evening, a minor employee of a supermarket in Heidelberg's Rohrbach district was the victim of a robbery-extortion offence. As he was taking a cash box from the checkout area to office rooms, an unknown perpetrator grabbed him from behind by the shoulder and threatened him with a knife. The employee handed over the cash box, which contained a low four-figure sum, and was not physically injured. The perpetrator fled on foot; criminal police are investigating and seeking information.
