Man threatens petrol station employee with knife in Heidelberg

An unidentified man allegedly entered a petrol station on Speyerer Straße in Heidelberg early on Wednesday and demanded money from the 35-year-old employee while holding a knife. When the employee did not immediately comply and stepped towards the man, he fled in an unknown direction. Nobody was injured and nothing was stolen. Criminal police are investigating suspected attempted aggravated robbery and extortion.
