Man threatens security worker with knife in Heide
After being refused entry to an event at the municipal theatre on Rosenstraße, a 20-year-old man allegedly threatened a security worker with a knife during the night before Sunday. At around 02:40, the worker and witnesses brought him to the ground before responding police officers took over and restrained him. Officers seized the knife and an irritant spray device. During transport to the police station, the heavily intoxicated suspect resisted and kicked at officers. Two officers sustained minor injuries but remained fit for duty. Following an ordered blood sample, the man was held to sober up; he is being investigated, among other matters, for making threats and resisting officers.
