Man critically injured in Hanover knife stabbing
A 37-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries from multiple knife wounds in Hanover's Spannhagengarten on 6 July. According to police, he had first argued with another 37-year-old man in his apartment at about 5:20 p.m. The suspect allegedly stabbed him several times with a kitchen knife in the stairwell of the apartment building. Emergency crews took the injured man to hospital. Police arrested the suspect at the scene and secured the alleged weapon; the investigation concerns attempted manslaughter.
