Man injured in the neck in Handorf
A 27-year-old man is alleged to have stabbed a 41-year-old acquaintance in the neck with an object in a residential setting in Handorf at about 12:45 a.m. on 7 June. The injured man and others in the home barricaded themselves and called police. Officers treated the wound before the man was taken to a specialist clinic in Hamburg for emergency surgery. Police later said he was no longer in life-threatening condition. The suspect was provisionally detained in Handorf that night and was remanded after appearing before a judge on an attempted-murder warrant. Investigations into the background and motive continue.
