Two teenagers seriously injured in altercation in Hanau
Two teenagers were seriously injured in a violent altercation between several young people at Hanau's Hafenplatz on Thursday evening. Emergency calls at about 7:35 p.m. reported two groups of young people confronting each other. Two teenagers were taken to hospital with stab wounds; police said there was no immediate danger to life. Police provisionally detained two minor suspects that evening and a third the following morning. Prosecutors and criminal investigators are examining suspected attempted homicide and dangerous bodily harm, while the background and precise involvement remain under investigation.
