48-year-old man injured with knife in Hamm
A 48-year-old man was injured with a knife in Hamm-Herringen on Monday. According to police, he was walking home on Friesenstraße at about 1:20 a.m. when an unknown man suddenly sprayed him with pepper spray and then used a knife he was carrying against him.
The suspect fled the scene. An immediate police search was unsuccessful. The injured man was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment, while criminal police investigate suspected dangerous bodily harm and seek to identify the suspect.
