Two injured after shooting and stabbing in Hamburg-Ottensen
Two people were injured in an attack at a cultural association at the corner of Friedensallee and Bergiusstraße in Hamburg-Ottensen on 13 September. According to NDR, two masked men entered the association's premises shortly before 10:30 p.m. and fired several shots at a teenager. The teenager was hit in the thigh, treated by an emergency doctor at the scene and then taken to hospital.
Police officers shortly afterwards found a 20-year-old man in Friedensallee who, according to the current findings, had also been at the cultural association at the time of the incident. He had been stabbed in the buttock, with a knife still lodged in the wound. Police said neither injured person was in life-threatening condition. The initial search for the perpetrators was unsuccessful. Police are examining a prior dispute as a possible trigger; NDR reports that there could be a connection to the drug milieu.
