Man detained after injury with pointed object in Hamburg
A 34-year-old man was injured with a suspected pointed object during an altercation at a construction site in Hamburg-Marienthal. Police said that another 34-year-old man allegedly injured him and then left the scene. The injured man underwent emergency surgery because a threat to his life could not be ruled out. The suspect was later provisionally detained at a hospital, and investigations into attempted homicide are ongoing.
