Man dies after knife attack in Hamburg-Lurup
A 41-year-old man died after a knife attack in Hamburg-Lurup during the night into Tuesday. According to the current investigation, a 36-year-old acquaintance is suspected of stabbing him in the torso with a knife for reasons that remain unclear. Police said the suspect called emergency services himself. The victim was taken to hospital while receiving resuscitation measures and died later that night. Officers provisionally detained the 36-year-old at his home shortly afterwards, and the investigation into the background continues.
