18-year-old detained after knife injury in Hamburg
Following a verbal argument at a residential facility in Hamburg-Volksdorf on the morning of 25 April, an 18-year-old allegedly injured a 37-year-old man in the upper body with a knife. The injury was initially assessed as potentially life-threatening, though police later said there was no immediate danger to life. The injured man was taken to hospital. Officers provisionally detained the suspect on the facility grounds. The homicide unit is investigating attempted homicide in coordination with prosecutors.
