Woman arrested after fatal knife injury in Hamburg
A 35-year-old man was critically injured with a knife during an altercation in Hamburg's Neuallermöhe district on 19 February. He died in hospital shortly afterwards. The man's 41-year-old former partner was initially released because the initial findings did not establish urgent suspicion against her. Further investigation led police and prosecutors to identify concrete indications that the act had been planned, and a judge then issued a warrant on suspicion of murder. The woman was arrested and taken into pre-trial detention; the investigation is continuing.
