Two men injured after altercation at Jungfernstieg

Two men were injured during an altercation at Jungfernstieg in Hamburg-Neustadt on 17 January. According to the current investigation, a 26-year-old man inflicted a stab wound to a 53-year-old man's back with a knife, while a 21-year-old sustained a stab wound to his shin. Both men were taken to hospital and their injuries were not life-threatening. Police provisionally detained the 26-year-old and two other men and secured knives. The three men are being investigated, including on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
