Man injured with machete during attempted petrol station robbery in Hamburg

Three masked men are alleged to have attempted to rob a petrol station in Hamburg-Billstedt on Monday evening. They demanded cash from a 42-year-old employee while displaying a firearm. After the employee knocked the weapon away, a physical confrontation followed involving him and another 21-year-old employee. The 42-year-old sustained a facial injury and a cut to his leg, allegedly from a blow with a machete. He was taken to hospital. The three suspects fled, and the initial search did not result in their arrest.
