Man detained after fatal stabbing in Hamburg-Harburg
A 25-year-old man died after suffering multiple stab wounds at a shopping centre in Hamburg-Harburg. Another 25-year-old man is suspected of inflicting the injuries during a dispute on 26 June; the two men apparently had a prior connection.
Witnesses stopped the suspect inside the shopping centre after he fled on foot and held him until police arrived. The victim was taken to hospital while resuscitation was being performed but later died of his severe injuries. Homicide detectives are investigating, and the provisionally detained suspect was due to be brought before a judge.
