Man injures father with knife and dies after fall in Hamburg
According to the current investigation, a 26-year-old man injured himself and his 50-year-old father with a knife during a family dispute in an apartment in Hamburg-Hausbruch on Whit Monday. The father was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries; his condition later stabilised and he was no longer in danger of dying. The man then went into the stairwell of the high-rise building and allegedly jumped from the 15th floor with suicidal intent. Emergency responders found him fatally injured on a canopy. The homicide unit and public prosecutors are investigating.
