Man arrested after stabbing in Hamburg
A 36-year-old man suffered life-threatening knife wounds during a physical altercation near August-Bebel Park in Hamburg's St. Georg district at about 21:01 on 26 April. Emergency workers who happened to be nearby provided initial treatment before he was taken to hospital. A 29-year-old man is suspected of causing the injuries. He initially fled but was provisionally detained nearby shortly afterwards and taken before a custody judge. The homicide unit is investigating.
