Man injured in knife attack at Hainburg supermarket
A 32-year-old man was attacked with a knife and injured during an altercation at a supermarket in the Fasanerie-Arkaden complex in Hainburg. He was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
Police initially searched for a 38-year-old suspect after the incident. The man turned himself in at a police station in Groß-Gerau at about 1 p.m. and was provisionally detained. Prosecutors and criminal investigators are examining the background to the incident.
