Men detained after knife injury and resistance in Hagen

A 32-year-old man was injured with a knife in unclear circumstances outside a nightclub on Hochstraße in Hagen during the night of 3 May. Police were called at about 2:30 a.m. because of a dispute involving a group and found the injured man and a 25-year-old man holding a knife. The 25-year-old allegedly threatened officers with the knife, ignored an order to drop it, and discarded it while fleeing. After he was stopped, he allegedly resisted being restrained by striking out, while the 32-year-old allegedly tried to strike a police officer. Both men were taken into custody; the knife, which had blood traces on it, was secured, and several investigations were opened.
