Man injures former partner with knife in Hagen
A 51-year-old man is alleged to have seriously injured his 40-year-old former partner with a knife in Hagen-Haspe on Friday afternoon. The woman encountered the suspect outside an apartment building at about 3:45 p.m., where he is alleged to have attacked her without warning, according to initial findings. Following medical examination and treatment, an immediate threat to her life was ruled out for the time being. Officers found the man at the scene and provisionally detained him. A homicide investigation unit has taken over the further investigation.
