Suspect detained after machete robbery at petrol station
A young man robbed a petrol station in Gummersbach on Sunday evening. He displayed a machete to an employee and demanded cash, which was handed over. He then fled towards the town centre on a motor scooter; an initial search involving a police helicopter was unsuccessful. Officers located a 22-year-old suspect several hours later and provisionally detained him.
