A 50-year-old man was seriously but not life-threateningly injured during an altercation in Grönwohld on the evening of 29 March. He had arranged to meet an unknown purported buyer for a vehicle advertised online and was led from the planned meeting point to Lehmbeksweg. A scuffle and then a physical confrontation followed, with two further men joining. According to police, one of them carried a machete and allegedly used it several times against the man. The three suspects fled together in a vehicle, and criminal investigators are seeking witnesses. Investigators are also examining whether a robbery occurred after the injured man's mobile phone was found to be missing.
