A threat involving a machete-like knife was reported at a kebab shop in Greiz on the evening of 17 August. According to a 47-year-old man, he requested a free kebab after drinking a beer; when he could not pay for the drink, he became involved in a dispute with the 41-year-old operator. The operator allegedly took a machete-like knife in his hand, gestured with it toward the man and told him to leave the shop. No one was injured. Police questioned the participants, established their identities, and issued the 47-year-old man with an exclusion order and a ban from the premises. The exact sequence remains under investigation.
