Man remanded in custody after jewellery store robbery in Göppingen
A 32-year-old man allegedly robbed a jewellery store in Göppingen on 9 July. According to police and prosecutors, he entered the shop masked shortly before 10 a.m. and threatened an employee and later the owner with a knife. The owner opened the cash register and handed over cash, after which the man fled on foot. Officers arrested him shortly afterwards and found the suspected proceeds on him. A warrant was issued for the suspect, who is in pre-trial detention.
