Masked man robs Gladbeck kiosk with knife
A masked man robbed a kiosk on Steinstraße in Gladbeck on Thursday afternoon. He threatened the 69-year-old employee with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. After receiving the requested items, he also took drink cans from a refrigerator. The offender fled with the loot towards the B224 and Essener Straße; the employee was unharmed. An immediate search was unsuccessful, and police are reviewing video footage among other evidence.
