A 37-year-old man was allegedly injured with a knife during an attempted robbery on Friedrichstraße in Gießen on 1 April. At about 5:30 p.m., two men allegedly attacked him, pushed him to the ground and tried to take the mobile phone he was holding. During the confrontation, he suffered cuts to his arm and back and was taken to hospital; the injuries were not life-threatening.
