Man remanded in custody after stabbing in Gießen
A 25-year-old man suffered life-threatening stab injuries during an altercation in Gießen on 31 January. Police said that his life was no longer in danger after medical treatment. Officers arrested a 26-year-old man shortly after the incident. A judge subsequently ordered his remand in custody on suspicion of attempted manslaughter. Criminal police are continuing their investigation into the background.
