Man with knife detained after altercation in Gelsenkirchen
A 27-year-old man became involved in an argument with a group by a park bench in Gelsenkirchen on 30 June. He struck and injured a 39-year-old man. He then pulled a knife and made stabbing motions. The man initially fled, discarded the knife and was later stopped by police officers and taken into custody. The knife was recovered and the investigation is ongoing.
