Man threatened with knife and pushed away from cash machine

An unknown man allegedly threatened a 43-year-old at a cash machine in a bank branch on Cranger Straße in Gelsenkirchen on Thursday morning. According to police, the suspect approached the man holding a knife and pushed him away from the machine.

Several attempts to withdraw money from the 43-year-old's account were unsuccessful. The suspect then fled on foot towards Bonifatiusweg. An immediate search did not locate him.
