Minors detained after attempted kiosk robbery in Gelsenkirchen

Two masked minors allegedly entered a kiosk in central Gelsenkirchen at about 12:15 a.m. on Sunday. While displaying a knife and an electric shock device, they demanded that the 19-year-old operator open the cash register. The operator unsettled the youths, who then fled without taking anything. Police located the suspects nearby based on the operator's description, took them to a police station and later handed them over to their parents.
