Three men injured in altercation in Gelsenkirchen
Three men were injured in a physical altercation on Küppersbuschstraße in Gelsenkirchen at about 10:45 p.m. on 15 July. A 27-year-old and a 37-year-old sustained minor injuries, while a 31-year-old was seriously injured; all three received hospital treatment. Police said knives and various blunt instruments were used during the confrontation. Officers established the identities of those involved and took witness statements, while investigating whether an earlier conflict was a possible trigger.
