Man seriously injured with knife during dispute in Gelsenkirchen
A 24-year-old is alleged to have seriously injured a 32-year-old with a knife during a dispute in an apartment in Gelsenkirchen. The incident occurred at about 7:50 p.m. on 29 April. The injured man underwent emergency surgery in hospital, and police said his life was not in danger. The suspect initially left the apartment but returned during the police operation and was provisionally arrested. The knife was found nearby and seized. At the request of prosecutors, Essen Local Court issued a pre-trial detention order against the 24-year-old.
