Knife displayed during confrontation in Gelsenkirchen
Two groups of teenagers became involved in a confrontation in a park in Gelsenkirchen on 6 April. According to the investigation, participants punched and kicked each other during a verbal dispute. One teenager allegedly sprayed irritant gas and another displayed a knife but did not use it. After the groups met again at an underpass, a suspect allegedly threw a stone twice at a teenager's head. The teenager was slightly injured and taken to hospital. Several participants fled, while two minor suspects were located and handed over to their guardians.
