Man injured with knife in attempted robbery in Geesthacht
An attempted robbery was reported at the car park of a McDonald's on Düneberger Straße in Geesthacht on 10 April. A man first approached a 21-year-old man from Hamburg and asked for change. After the man showed his wallet and declined, the suspect allegedly threatened him with a knife and tried to pull the wallet away. During a subsequent struggle, the victim sustained superficial cuts and a stab wound to the back. He was taken to a hospital in Hamburg after emergency medical treatment; police said his life was not in danger. The suspect fled on an orange bicycle.
