Man injured with sword in Gaimersheim
A 44-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his upper body from a sword in an allotment garden in Gaimersheim on Saturday, 26 September 2026. Police said the injury was not life-threatening. He and a 46-year-old man had consumed alcohol together during the day before arguing in the early evening. Officers arrested the 46-year-old at the scene without resistance. He was brought before a judge on suspicion of attempted homicide, and the judge ordered pre-trial detention. Ingolstadt criminal police are continuing their investigation.
