Two alleged knife robberies in Fürstenwalde
Police are investigating two alleged robberies in Fürstenwalde/Spree and are examining whether the incidents are connected. At about 23:30 on 24 June, a masked person is alleged to have demanded valuables from a 22-year-old man while displaying a knife in Mühlenstraße. The suspect fled when a passer-by drove past, and the man, who was in shock, was attended by ambulance staff. About half an hour earlier, an unknown person is alleged to have forced a 38-year-old man in Kehrwiederstraße to hand over luggage while displaying a knife, then struck him. The 38-year-old suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital; the offender fled with the luggage.
