Man threatens family in Fürstenwalde with garden knife
Late on 7 June 2026, police sought to check a man at an allotment garden site in the Nord-Ost area of Fürstenwalde/Spree. The 29-year-old fled across several gardens, damaging fences in the process. When he encountered a family, he allegedly threatened them with a garden knife. Officers caught up with him shortly afterwards, brought him to the ground and took him into custody.
