Man injured in the neck with knife during dispute in Friedberg

A 43-year-old man was seriously injured in the neck during a dispute in an apartment in Friedberg-Ockstadt on 30 March. According to the investigation so far, a 48-year-old man allegedly picked up a knife and injured him after the men had previously consumed substantial amounts of alcohol together. Emergency personnel treated the injured man before he was flown to hospital; he is now out of danger. The 48-year-old was arrested, and a court ordered pre-trial detention on urgent suspicion of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm. The investigation is ongoing.
