Two men injured after alleged knife attack in Freiburg
Two men aged 18 and 35 said they were attacked by an unknown person in Freiburg's Colombipark on Friday evening. Police said that a knife was reportedly used, while one of the men sustained apparent cut injuries from an unknown weapon. Both men were taken to Freiburg hospitals with minor injuries. They were later found at a gathering place on Stefan-Meier-Strasse, where police had been called because of an altercation. The 35-year-old allegedly later assaulted police officers and resisted his arrest. As accounts of the sequence of events conflict, police are investigating an unknown suspect and seeking witnesses.
